AlDente – Charge Limiter
The ALL-IN-ONE charge Limiter App for MacBooks.
AlDente Pro is an advanced battery protection app designed for Mac that improves battery life by limiting the maximum charging percentage of the battery. This tool is especially useful for lithium-ion and polymer batteries, such as MacBook batteries, to help users maintain battery life in the ideal power range of 20% to 80%, avoiding battery wear and tear caused by long-term full charges. AlDente Pro features battery status monitoring, battery life management, optimization and management tools, and power plan management, allowing users to customize power settings to maximize range or performance. In addition, it offers a range of unique features such as overheat protection, discharge mode, Sailing mode, and battery calibration to ensure the health and efficiency of your Mac’s battery during use. By using AlDente, users don’t need to constantly monitor battery levels or worry about overcharging, saving the cost of battery replacement while protecting the environment.

- We’ve added a Power Consumption graph to the Dashboard. You can toggle between Instant usage and Average usage over the last 5, 15, or 30 minutes. There’s also a new Time Remaining estimate that updates in real time, calculated from the selected consumption window and your current charge.
- The charge limit slider is now disabled during Calibration Mode.
- Improved the license activation timeout.
- Added the modification of the charge limit through settings.
- Added an overview of available Apple shortcuts for AlDente.
- Implemented a setting to pause background updates when the AlDente Dashboard window is not in focus.
- Implemented a setting to choose which apps are displayed in the "Apps Using Significant Energy" list, depending on their energy consumption.
- Added a lower limit for the Heat Protection feature to avoid stopping the charging process below 20%.
- The Charge Limit over time is now also included in the Battery Level graph.
